About Salt Siwa

Salt Siwa is a brand of Egypt Globe Group — an Egyptian B2B export trading conglomerate operating across 7 product divisions (salt, cement, chemicals, fertilizers, agro & food, industrial minerals, metals) and shipping to 60+ destination countries.

We focus on rock salt from the Siwa Oasis — Egypt's largest inland evaporite deposit, located in the Western Desert roughly 600 km west of Cairo. The Siwa salt formations originated 30+ million years ago when an ancient sea evaporated, leaving thick halite seams that today yield rock salt at a guaranteed minimum ≥97% NaCl purity. The deeper Qattara Depression complements Siwa supply for very large bulk vessel parcels.

Our infrastructure is integrated end-to-end: mining → crushing → screening → (optional) kiln-drying → packing → trucking to port → loading at El Dekheila (EGEDK), Alexandria (EGALY), Damietta (EGDAM), and Ain Sokhna (EGSOK)for vessel and container parcels worldwide.

Why we're different

• ≥97% NaCl guaranteed minimum — Siwa Oasis seams consistently exceed the 95% baseline of competing rock salt origins (Pakistan Khewra, Polish Klodawa).
• Natural moisture 1–1.5% — ideal for direct deicing storage. Kiln-dried to 0.25% / 0.5% on request for chlor-alkali, water-softener pellets, food-grade and pharma applications.
• Multi-standard deicing range — EN 16811-1 (Type 1+2+PW), ASTM D632, BS 3247:2011, GOST 13830, SS-EN 16811-1 (Nordic) all supplied from the same Siwa source.
• Internal QC lab — Egypt Globe QC Lab issues a Certificate of Analysis on every shipment, with optional independent verification by SGS / Intertek / Bureau Veritas / TUV on request.
• L/C-bank document set — Proforma + Commercial Invoice + Packing List + B/L + COO + Phytosanitary + CoA. Less than 0.3% bank rejection rate across 60+ countries.
• Flexible parcel sizes — minimum 240 MT (10×20ft FCL container parcel) up to 65,000 MT bulk vessel. Same QC + documentation across all sizes.
